TRANSPORT
Equimodal designs, manufactures, homologates and integrates containers, swap bodies and containerized solutions for any logistic, industrial, energy and defence application. We are specialized in ETO (Engineering to Order) solutions integrated transversally in our customers' engineering departments. This operation allows us to jointly tackle highly complex projects in extraordinarily short terms.
EQUIMODAL has manufactured over 22,000 units and more than 500 different models.
CONTAINERS AND SWAP BODIES
Equimodal leads the manufacturing of containers and swap bodies, being the largest manufacturer in Spain and one of the largest in Europe.
We are specialists in the custom manufacturing of containers and we design any solution adapted to the specific cargo needs of our customers, from standard model units to special logistics solutions.
Our agility in manufacturing prototypes allows our customers to validate and adjust the design.
The standardization of processes gives us the versatility to manufacture prototypes, small lot sizes and large lot sizes.
Equimodal manufactures all types of containers: closed containers, with side openings (Open Side), with top openings (Open Top), bulk containers (Bulk), flat racks, coil containers, refrigerators, swap bodies, etc...

All our units are homologated according to current regulations in accordance with:
- CSC: International Convention for Safe Containers
- ISO: International Organization for Standardization
- CEN: European Committee for Standardization
- UIC: International Union of Railways
We adapt to the customers’ needs according to the standardized dimensions, being able to homologate and certify equipment up to 3,500mm in height.
In addition to manufacturing standard-size containers according to regulations:
- ISO: 10’, 20’, 30’, 40’ and 45’
- Class C swap bodies (EN-284): 7,15, 7,45, 7,82
- Class A swap bodies (EN-452): 13,600
In our facilities we have manufactured containers up to 22m long, 4.2m wide and 4m high.
